Brief Itinerary - Istanbul City & Cappadocia Package
Day 1
Arrival at airport or cruiseship and you'll be transferred to your hotel. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 2 - Full Day Old City Tour
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up for full day tour of the Old City's most famous sites including Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar.
This guided City Tour of the old historical quarter starts after breakfast, when you are picked up from the hotel or port by our private guide. Begin with a visit to Topkapi Palace, the main residence of the Ottoman Sultans, with its jewel encrusted treasury and elegant four courts. After a lunch break, visit the main sights around Sultanahmet Square, including the famous Hagia Sophia Museum, once the largest church in the world for 1000 years, and decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics. Then visit the Blue Mosque, designed with 6 delicate minarets and a striking blue Iznik tiled interior. Nearby, take a stroll through the site of the ancient Hippodrome, once the sporting ground of chariots and political riots, and see the Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column and Fountain of Wilhelm II. Finally, visit the Grand Bazaar, where you can shop or haggle with local merchants over unusual antiques, colorful spices, beautiful jewelry and richly textured fabrics.

Day 3 - Half Day Bosphorus Tour
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up for half day tour of Spice Market & then take a Bosphorus Cruise. Free afternoon. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 4
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for Cappadocia Tour. Pick up at Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport and transfer to Cappadocia to start the tour. Take a couple of days holidays in Cappadocia to discover this unique and colorful region in all its glory. This diverse landscape is a paradise for sightsee-ers, walkers, nature and adventure lovers, or for those in search of a glimpse back in time to the traditional central Anatolian village life. Enjoy fiery sunsets over incredible rock pinnacles, Byzantine churches and cave houses.
Start with a stroll through Red & Rose Valley for an introduction to the beautiful scenery and diverse volcanic rock formations and mysterious rock-cut houses. Visit the old Christian Village of Cavusin, followed by lunch and then take a trip to Pigeon Valley. Later visit Kaymakli Underground City, where local Christians hid in safety from Arab invaders, Ortahisar Castle and Mustafapasa Greek village. Drop off to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5
Pick up at hotel. Proceed to Devrent and Monk's Valley, where thee are incredible mushroom-shaped rock formations or 'fairy chimneys'. Next visit the tiny village of Avanos, most famous for its handcrafted pottery with clay from the local river. After lunch, explore the Goreme Open Air Museum, which hosts some of the most beautiful rock-carved churches and Byzantine wall paintings from the whole regions. Then ascend the natural hilltop Castle of Uchisar for superb panoramic views over the moonscape valleys below. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 6
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport of Cappadocia. Back to the Istanbul.
